Beginners lessons:
First time ever skiing?… You are going to LOVE it!! We have the patience of angels to put your anxious moments to rest and put a wide smile on your face for the whole vacation! We will have you skiing in control with confidence and well on your way to exploring the mountain at your own pace, usually within a few hours! We show you all you need to know about the lifts, safety on the slopes, skiers etiquette, equipment functions and much, much more. Everything you need to get going on your own, as soon as possible!! With us it is usual to have a beginner, skiing intermediate technique within the week of their first ski holiday! Fun is the point of skiing and we will share that at all times with you as you learn the freedom and pleasure of this beautiful way of life!
NOTE:
Skiing is a Sport!
Try to be in good physical shape when you come to learn, it is much easier and you will enjoy it a lot more! As a beginner you use a lot of energy the first lesson or two. Good cardio vascular fitness, muscle tone and flexibility will contribute greatly to your enjoyment and progress! Students who have the most difficulty learning are those who are very unfit….
Intermediates lessons: stressing high mileage with lots of good skiing!
Looking to gain more confidence or more control, or maybe get over that plateau you have been at for awhile? Time to learn more advanced technique so you are free to explore more of the mountains or ski some powder snow?
We will zero in on what is the best for your particular need and how to help you achieve your goal quickly! It may be a simple suggestion related to your equipment and a few tips on technique. What ever your specific need we have years of ski teaching and coaching experience that will benefit you and help you achieve the skiing you dream of. We can help set you free and raise the level of fun and enjoyment significantly! Intermediate skiers make huge advances with good ski teachers,……and that’s the most fun for us!

If its Steeps & Deeps, or Strategies for variable snow conditions, Free ride and Big Mountain style skiing off piste, powerful precise Carving or the desire to ski long crowded runs at top speed in maximum control, or perhaps you want to race or are preparing for competition?
We have the expertise and experience to deliver you to your highest skiing aspirations.
Let us take to you to the more challenging parts of the mountain and show you the latest in advanced ski technique. Pass on the best tips that you need for your personal style, show you how to ski farther, faster and freer than ever before.
Children’s lessons:
We love to work with children from ages 7 +. We teach them safety on the mountain, common sense for mountain and skiing situations that they are likely to encounter, technique as well as lift safety and etiquette.
Children learn in different ways than do adults and they need to be kept active, not standing around listening to some ‘old guy’ talking all the time. So high mileage days are to be expected!
We also request that all children be supplied with snack and hot chocolate money for the more frequent breaks they require. All children must ski with helmets while skiing with us!
We coach you to be truly free on your skis in any and all possible snow conditions on any mountain! All of our skiing together stresses high mileage and a lot of skiing!

ADVANCED level:
The focus of this course is to coach you on and to introduce you to a much broader spectrum of mountain and snow conditions. Demonstrating specific strategies and technique adaptations for more challenging off piste and variable snow conditions as well as dialing up your on pistes technical skills.
You will learn how your speed, your line and your edge control on the snow can be adapted to make the entire mountain more accessible, opening new dimensions to your overall ski experience and enjoyment.
Including:
- Adaptations for varying snow and terrain
- Off piste skiing skills
- Piste precision skiing skills
- Skiing in variable conditions
To ski with confidence freely in all conditions with complete control and expression!
The Advanced level course stresses high milage and lots of good skiing!
NOTE : Minimum Level for Advanced Courses
Please ensure that you are at the minimum level or above for advanced courses:
- You are an experienced piste skier and can ski parallel on black runs, close to the fall line at a steady speed. You have no or very little off piste experience. NOTE: it is recommend skiing on all mountain skis. (A ski designed for a bit of everything)
EXPERT levels:
STEEP & DEEP skiing in Chamonix! This course will deliver you to a true All Mountain skier! You will develop speed, line and snow texture and depth adaptations, that will give you complete freedom on any slope in any snow condition.
Coaching you towards Free Ride skiing skills that will help you cope with the endless mountain conditions!
Shape basic off piste and Free ride skiing Skills & Techniques; steeps, variable conditions, terrain and snow tactics. Work on different types of snow strategies & terrain strategies for making the off piste easy and exciting. Strategies for choice of line and itinerary, for getting the most out of the conditions. Stressing high mileage and deep untracked conditions.
Including:
- Free Ride Techniques
- Tactics and Techniques for a variety of snow conditions
- Off piste line choice & tactics
- Short and long radius carving skills at speed on a variety of slopes
- Couliors, mogul & deep snow skiing and all Mountain awareness

NOTE : Minimum Level for Expert Courses
Please ensure that you are at the minimum level or above for Expert courses: You are an experienced on piste skier and can handle most conditions and terrain but may struggle a little off piste. You have some off piste experience. NOTE: it is recommend skiing on all mountain skis. (A ski designed for a bit of everything).
High Speed Piste Carving
This course focuses on obtaining the confidence, control and performance to ski at high speed any where on steep reds and black runs. Focusing on strong basic ski technique suited to faster gliding and exact edge control needed to confidently carve your way down any piste with complete control and at high speeds.
Body position, carving skills, downhill stops, pre jumping, tucking, fast gliding, etc.
Exhilarating and really a fun way to rip the slopes.
All courses stress high mileage with lots of good fast skiing!
NOTE : Minimum Level for High Speed Carving Courses
Please ensure that you are at the minimum level or above for High Speed Carving courses:
- You are an experienced piste skier and can ski parallel on red runs, close to the fall line at a steady speed in good control. You have the need for SPEED!
- NOTE: it is recommend skiing on Giant Slalom or longer length carving skis. (A ski designed for piste skiing or packed snow conditions)
High Speed Super G & Speed Skiing!
This course is offered to advanced skiers, we have either skied with on previous technical courses or skiers who we know have the ability and technical skills required for high speeds.
Strong commitment and advanced skiing skills are required for this course by all skiers. This course will advance your skiing skills overall and open your entire scope of skiing on all conditions tremendously!
This course is a lot of FUN! ….And is becoming more popular each season, if you are interested in taking this course call us to discuss your participation.
NOTE: Long skis, Helmets and Medical Insurance including Helicopter evacuation are mandatory! And must be arranged in advance

NOTE: Minimum Level for Off Piste tours
Please ensure that you are at the minimum level or above for Off Piste Tours: You are a Strong Advanced to Expert skier that can ski in complete control on ANY slope, in ANY snow condition. You have previous off piste experience and have practiced with your avalanche transceiver.
You are not intimidated by steep icy or narrow steep rocky runs. Note: it is recommend skiing on all mountain skis. The use of Crampons, Harness and Avalanche Transceiver is MANDATORY.
Off Piste Zermatt

Off Piste Engelberg

This course will take place on appropriate mountain terrain and give you an excellent base for feeling more confident and safe off piste. Stressing hands on practical experience and selecting the right gear for your needs.
NOTE: Avalanche Transceiver, Avalanche Probe, Shovel, and Harness & Crampons are required and can be supplied.
Ski Touring Chamonix
This is a 3 day program to initiate the advanced skier to the vast off piste potential of Chamonix's Mountain & Glacier terrain.
Instruction on all aspects of ski touring equipment, use and practice, terrain selection and itineraries. Each day taking the skier to a new route and the most beautiful regions of Chamonix's off piste domain. Tour the Classic routes on 3 separate days each night returning to Chamonix.
Over nighting in high mountain Huts is optional depending on groups abilities and preferences.
Skiers must be fit and ski minimum of advanced level with some off piste experience in Variable snow conditions with a back pack.
NOTE: Touring Ski equipment, Avalanche Transceiver, Avalanche Probe, Shovel, Harnesses, Crampons, Ice axe and back pack are required!
